Contribute
These docs are written for designers, by people who actually use Hermes — and you can help keep them sharp.
No GitHub account. No forks, no pull requests, no code required. Every page has a built-in form. Just scroll to the bottom of any doc, pick a button, and tell us what needs to change.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Open the form from any page — click Suggest an edit, Report outdated, or Suggest new page at the bottom of the doc.
- Fill in one short field — we pre-fill the page URL so you don’t have to.
- You review, we decide — every suggestion lands in a spreadsheet you can read.
- Approved changes go live — the page gets updated, and your name goes on the contributor wall plus the page footer.
Three ways to contribute

What makes a good suggestion
Section titled “What makes a good suggestion”- Be specific. Point at the section or line that’s wrong.
- Show the fix. If you know the correct command, URL, or wording, include it.
- One issue per submission. It’s easier to review and ship.
Designer Tip:
Add your name or social handle only if you want public credit. There’s a checkbox in the form — it’s off by default.
Recognition
Section titled “Recognition”Approved contributions are credited in two places:
- Per-page credit — “Improved by [Name]” at the bottom of the page you helped fix.
- Contributor wall — a public list of everyone who has shaped these docs.
